1950's Ford Pickup

Postby Dodge Fan » Sat Nov 10, 2012 7:49 am

Last year I bought a Tamiya 1/32 Midnight Pumpkin Jr kit hoping to use the body for a slot car. When I got it I was surprised and dissapointed that the body was only 4.5 inches long so I set it a side. A couple weeks ago I got it back out and thought about it awhile and decided to try cutting down an Eldon chassis to fit, yea it was too short even for an Eldon chassis. So here is the original kit box and the finished truck.

That looks really good even at its shortened length. Nice job Matt!

I was always afraid to try those 1/32 Tamiya bodies like that and I guess for good reason. You did a great job with it though. It looks perfect.
