Do you have a warehouse era established? If the building is to be prior to 1950s, the brickwork would be more articulated: pilasters, header strings, visible lintels and headers at openings, extra detail at corner and cornice. Earlier buildings would typically have lots windows because electric light was rare (or in filled if a renovated building). I understand it's an early mock up, but good base will make added details more believable.
You might consider darkening the brick tones to increase the sinister level.
My first thought from the photos was "urban alley": fire escapes, dumpsters, roof drains, utility lines, straight out of film noir.
