For the Little Red Wagon I didnt want to cut up the bed to fit a inline so came up with mounting motor behind the axle, Helps with the wheelies too. For the Gas Ronda mustang (first funny car I ever saw way back in 1966) I wanted to keep as much of the interior intact as possible so I mounted the motor above the axle. Since these cars will only be going in a straight line I am not to concerned about how they handle. Normaly I only make Indy and some Nascar but have always loved these two drag cars, I see a Gartlis Swamp Rat in the future, I am going to have to make a drag strip now....The Gas Ronda car isnt quite like the the real 66 car but close enough for me. Just need some drivers to put in them, any ideas......
