I have had this old 1/32 Gunzie Sangyo kit for some time and figured I would do something with it.I am mounting it to a old Carrera T- Bird chassis. I had to move the front axle forward to make it fit the wheelbase. I may change the motor and wheels. I have only two of the white wall tires. I painted the body two tone dark red and white. It will have the roof in the up position.A tray type of interior will be made by cutting down the kit interior.

Beautiful crisp lines on that paint job.
And the old girl herself is a classic beauty.
Nice choice and great build going on.

The '57 and the '59 were really nice looking cars. The best operating roof was the '59, and then they stopped making the Skyliner. I had the '58, which was butt ugly by comparison and I had to park on a hill to make the roof work. We stuffed an old Y-block into it, but that was the only modification. Red over black two-tone with a gold foil stripe down the side, black top, and a pink and gray mohair interior. That's the way it was made... I told you it was ugly.
