Yep, the forged version (squared off, rabbited bottom edge for soldering), is also more fragile than this one. I broke one of the forged ones in half once, but these sheet metal brass ones are tough. Both have had the offset for many years.

confused now, part# PMTR5012 shows only 2 motor mounting holes does it in fact come with 4?

Mark, that is the exact one I bought...had to go back to his site and check and check my invoice and that’s what I received with 4 holes.

I have these for the ff motors. One is like the old BWA bracket ie short and the other is slightly longer with a 1mm offset.

After getting a bunch made I sold a lot to a dealer in the UK and then more to a guy in Aussie.

They are made of panel steel which solders well, not as nice as brass but there was an issue with the laser cutter.
There are few left in my stash before I re order....$US3.50 per piece
The holes are for a 3/16 oilite and an M2 motor screw both of which I can supply for a bit more.

If my memory is still any good, the vertical mounting holes in the PM bracket were for mounting 16D-type motors. I got some of these brackets about 10 yrs. ago, but had thought PM sold out & wasn't going to carry them since they also had the cast brass brackets. It's nice to see they're still available, since they're strong & cheap.

PM also sold a matching droparm to these brackets. It'll be interesting if they're still available.I didn't find the droparms listed on the PM site, so one will will have to make their own using one of the various construction methods when needed.
