Here's one I have in the works. The body is styrene sheet, chassis is piano wire motor is a toothbrush motor. I haven't decided the actual car I'm replicating yet so it's still primer.

So I took the body off and realized it wasn't the chassis I thought it was. Square brass, wire front, parts box motor (AutoArt?), Monogram Greenwwod Vette running gear and PG rears.

Thanks Rick, your chassis appears to be built quite rugged. it should stand up to a lot of running. I wasn't expecting to see such a detailed motor under the hood. Thanks!:)

The engine is one that Mark Thomas (KY. Slot Racer) used to turn out. He did a bunch of really nice resin detail type stuff and some bodies as well. Unfortunately he no longer sells them as they were top notch.
