1/32 Opel GT Update, Finished!

I am building this using the reissued Revell kit. The chassis is a pretty hacked up Scalextric 69 Camaro piece that has been in my junk box. I added some Plastruct "L" channel to strengthen the chassis and to the rear of the chassis also for the mounting screws. Front axle has been relocated to match the wheel base. I am also using the 69 Camaro interior too, also from the junk box! The Opel dashboard will be used though. Check in for more updates.

Thanks for looking! I got the body painted with Tamiya Camel Yellow and clear coated.

The interior is almost finished. I had no roll bars that fit in my spares box, so I made one out of some brass rod.

Not sure when I will update, as Photobucket has deleted third party images and I deleted my account and pic's.

Well it is finally done!! Well almost, I am just waiting for the pinion gear to install on the H&R Jack Rabbit motor.I am using the Scalextric motor till then. I painted the wheels flat white and installed a pair of PG tires on the rear. The side pipes are from the junk box and painted flat white too. The trim and bumpers are done with chrome foil as usual. I added the assortment of decals and put a coat of Future floor wax over them. I imagine a small V-8 stuffed under the hood!

Well, in Opel competition yellow, a set of minilites and two side pipes! There's no 1900cc four pots in there anymore, no sir!

Darn good job! I like it!
