Hello there

After having a fun building first scratch chassis -sidewinder now is time for mark II Inline. I'm hoping to use this chassis for coming porsche / ford wars proxy. Weapon of choice porsche 914. Inline with wire chassis sitting on urethanes probably. So far after one night I have that much. Some more work coming later tonight or tomorrow. Big thanks to Chrisguyw for lots of good advices.
Regards Dariusz

Seems to be a piano wire chassis explosion up here in the far north.

Good effort.

Dan

Time to try something different.
And that a completely new level.

How was your porsche on Luf's track doing?

What was best lap time? And motor?

If you guys racing over summer I will definitely stop by this holiday season.

Regards Dariusz

Hi Dariusz,

Yes, I understand the search for the new and slot cars has many facets to keep the interest fresh.

My latest 914-6 has turned out be my best of three builds.

They're all quite similar in motor choice (FF050, 20K), gear ratio (3:1) and chassis build (square brass main rails, brass strips) but the green one just does better.

Build 2

I got build 3 down to consistent 7.8 second laps on Luf's Big Targa, a pretty good time. His place is GVSCC central with racing year round. It's best to email him at luf@telus.net to confirm a visit and run on his tracks.

Moving forward.

Dan
