Nice car really as I had a pleasure of driving it but that will not change the fact that I have to go on diet..... lol...

One important point about liquid flux: it's actually acidic which is what allows the steel wire to solder well.
Because of the acid, you want to make sure to wash and dry the parts well when you are done soldering to prevent long term rust (don't ask how I know).
But you have nothing to worry about, that's a nice job on a first build!
