So what can you get for 10 cents these days?

My local library charged me 10 cents to print these:

I needed motor brackets for an old Revell chassis, so I decided to try 3D printing some. They're not perfect, but for my first attempt I'm pretty happy.

I used SketchUp to create the parts, but it's not the easiest program to learn. Based on recommendations from the expert at the library I'm going to give TinkerCAD a try.

That's just about the coolest thing I've seen today. Give us a review of design, material, etc. There's a lot of guys out there who specialize in antique slot cars, and Revell goes almost all the way back to the beginning.

Yes, what he said ^^^^^

Stiffness can be an issue with the full size motor of vintage Revell and Monogram cars so it's super interesting to have 3D printed chassis parts.

That is awesome that your library has a 3D printer! (my main library use is for books on CD)
Very cool!
