I must agree. I built one on an scratch built chassis a couple of years ago for a fun run. My attempt at this car. Can't wait to see how you paint it. I was going to trying and match the factory two-tone scheme but my painting is not like Jim Heller's yet.

Looks great "stock"! Particularly if the chrome gets "foiled".
I always like these; the design made me think Plymouth might have had a little mouse working at Chevrolet!

That's a familiar sight. I had a blue/white two-tone '56 Plymouth wagon that I used as a fishing car for many years. It had an old 318 (with mechanical lifters), that was a workhorse, and those plaguey left hand lugs on one side. The car was practically indestructible. When it slid sideways into a tree, we pried the dent away from the tire with a jack handle and drove home with no trouble. But it was when we took the fender off that we got an education. That fender weighed a ton. There's a lot of good steel in those cars. We had to drive the car over the fender to flatten it out, then beat on it to finish the job. We beat on that fender a long time to get it back in shape.
