I originally built this in styrene over a year ago for use on Carrera digital and while it worked there was way to much flex in the chassis.

After reading about Pcb board I decided to give it a try also updating to steel rod from boxed brass for adjustability. Overall the Pcb is the way to go. No flex at all. The design of the chassis also allows ride height to be adjusted up or down with the adjustable axle blocks in the front and putting shims under the pod in the rear. I like this setup a lot as it allows me to make 1/24 Gt/Dtm cars that currently are not available from Carrera. I also wanted to make sure the chassis was long enough to accommodate that Charger body that I've had for years. :music-rockout:

Where is the source of PCB board?. Nice looking chassis, big and roomy.

My favorite material for many years. Printed Circuit Board is bonded to copper on one or both sides. Solder loves it. It is flexible, can be made rigid easily, and by using brass or steel elements, you can do anything with it.

I get it from:
