I think this will be a good start. We can modify or add a bit here and there if needed.

1. Pictures of your starting materials. Choice of body, Chassis type and material (brass, plastic etc.)
2. Pictures of the tools you will be using, and any alternative ways to do the same thing. for example, tubing bender versus bent around a screwdriver handle. etc.
3. List where parts come from, or where they can be purchased from, or if they are homemade.
4. As many pictures of the build during the whole process as you can. They are valuable to any newcomer's, as well as teaching us old dogs some new tricks!
5. Pictures of the final build so we can vote on the best overall build.

To be clear on all this, ANY scale cars are eligible, I have witnessed some awesome builds on the board from HO to 1/24th scale and everything in between.
I am looking for a final due date sometime in October or November of 2017.That should be plenty of time for a sideline build for anyone wanting to enter this little contest.

Do you want progress pictures or a photo essay showing the progression when the project is complete?

As I build in 143 and 132, I may try and do one in each scale using different methods for each. Would this be allowed? Heck it might be even fun to try an HO build as well, and really use this build off idea as a personal learning experience. Oh yes I have a boxful of 1/24 stuff as well.

I am retired and the winters are long. With the new Grand baby on the scene we may not be going anywhere this winter.

I have a few builds in the pipe line so now to choose which one to do for this

Sounds like a fun project and something I would like to do. Nice to see H.O. included
in this and a good way to see how other people do things.
