The wheels made me do it...Maserati 8ctf

Postby munter » Sun Nov 06, 2016 2:10 am

After buying some large wheels (MJK) and wondering what to do with them I decided I could narrow them as they had no inner recess like slotit rims do. Then when I had them sorted I needed a body to suit so after digging through the moulds I had a body was cast and trimmed out. The chassis uses an ABslotsport rear bracket. The fronts rotate independently, the tires are munter urethanes (reoflex 40) the inserts are resin copies of Ninco wires, the guide is Scaleauto, the driver is from deep down in the parts box and is resin, the bonnet straps are 3M masking tape.
The grill is a bit of a mess but it is what it is....moving on to some other slot task now.

So that's what I've been doing wrong! I have crud. I misspelled it.

Great car, John. As always.

Outstanding, John. Remember, any cars you build that don't come up to your exacting standards, you may send them to me. My wifes rescues animals, I figure I can rescue unwanted slots.
