Posted: Sat Aug 06, 2016 6:26 pmMy friend "3D Ron" made me two bodies of that car from a set of blueprints, one in 1/32 and one in 1/24 scales. The 1/32 is running, but still to be painted. I just got the 1/24 body last night, so it is way down the list.
Briggs Cunningham's team ran these cars after he stopped building his own. The white with blue trim was the way he painted most of his team's cars.
Great model with neat touches.

The Lister looks great! There used to be one of these we saw run regularly at the Dunkirk Airport in the '60s. Powered by a corvette engine there was nothing that looked or sounded like it breaking for the hairpin at the end of the runway. I will definitely have to build another one of these in the near future.
