RMS 1968 Chevelle & 1970 Duster LMS DONE!

After much ado about nothing, here's the final results:

Chassis: a variation off of the "Stinker" for both with side pans. Worked out fairly well. I soldered up roll bars as well.

Motors: Pirahna 21k
Wheels: CBB 15x10
Tires: PGT-22166FF
Paint: All Duplicolor Rattle Can
Decals: Polecat
Guide: Slotting +
Axles: Slotting +

These were lots of fun to build! Neither is remotely perfect. I attempted to use Bare Metal Foil one last time and had issues with adhesion again. I also just suck at it apparently. Either way, they look pretty good and slide nicely around the oval. Of course, I had to run them on the PDR and they look just perfect there as well.

I think I need a fleet of these!

Can anyone tell David has a massive soft spot for Chevelles?

Seriously, they are both gorgeous. Nice job.

Those two look really, really good! I'm a Chevelle fan, so that one has a special appeal to me. Great paint and decals.

Very cool! And I'm not even a "roundy-round" fan!
Yes he seems partial to Chevelles

Dave, I also suck at bare metal foil. As suitable substitute, on larger areas, I use the metal duct tape; not perfect but it passes the "5 foot rule".

Very nice. I love the red, white, and blue theme on the Chevelle. That car is definitely on my list of must haves. Jim

Rob - the only soft spot is the middle of my body. I DO however have an obsession with Chevelles...I admit it.

TsgtRet - I actually used the metal duct tape on the tail lights. It doesn't bend enough to get in areas. I'll keep working at the BMF...

Brew - I'll happily bring these to "season" them next time at HRW. Would love to swap paint.

Jon - Pretty heady words there my friend. Not sure they are all that!

Thanks guys, these are quickly turning into my go-to cars for some laps!
