Thanks to Shotgundave for the body and Harry, btaylor and so many others for the inspiration to build one of these. I hope I do it justice. Here are a few pics of my progress so far....
Thanks for looking,
John

That`s going to be a bad little hot rod if you stay the coarse your on. You have already surpassed many that have come before you !
Great work

John, that should be a great looking car when it's completed. You did a nice job on the chassis. Keep us informed as your build progresses. :)

Thanks for all the kind words and encouragement, but you guys wrote the book, I merely read it and am trying not to embarrass myself too bad attempting to imitate.
This actually isn't my first brass chassis, I have done 2 small very basic ones that turned out ok. But this is the first of this type and magnitude that I have attempted.
Since it rained here today and I work outside I got the day off so I spent the better part of it working on this project. Here are a few pics of my progress. The chassis is complete now and I can start on the body and interior and motor and all those neat things.
I will tell you one thing....these are addicting, I'm hooked!

It looks like it's going 100 MPH just sitting there.
