Aston Martin DBR5

Postby Dangermouse » Mon Nov 26, 2012 2:51 am

Hi

This is a Penelope Pitlane kit of the Aston Martin DBR5

Nice kit - the chassis is a brass chassis sold by PP - wheels are by PP as well.

Kit comes with a lexan driver I swapped my own resin one and white metal mirrors and exhaust pipes.

I need to add the glass to finish it off

Great job on this rod. How do you like these wheels? Are the easy enough to work with?

holy cow! looks great with the wire wheels. i really love the look of the pipes and the driver the way you did it. i love the P&P stuff soo much. i just hate the wait it takes to get to the states, or id buy tons more of it.

Update

Glass done and insert fixed on rear wheel

Image

I am going to put in a plug for Steve at Penelope Pitlane here
http://www.penelopepitlane.co.uk

I scored this car from a mate - it was missing the rear insert and the screen. I sent Steve an email asking if I could purchase a new screen and I mentioned that I needed a new insert for the rear. His response was give me your address and I will send you what you need gratis.

Top service - he makes some neat cars, the chassis is good, the wheels are as well, hook them up with an M/T or BWA motor and you will have one sweet ride.

cheers

As I find myself asking for them all the time - it was a bit remiss of me not to show some chassis pictures
