This should be a lot of help to a bunch of folks! Never know when a "highboy" Fun Run might turn up!
And a build thread like this would be lots of help. or if you just want to build a way cool car!

Newbie question here, Dave. Would you enlighten us on your soldering method of choice -- torch, gun, or iron? -- and the solder and flux that you recommend to create these miniature masterpieces? And what is the source for the amazing Razor Jig?

I'm a bit late to the party. Sorry.
Will you elucidate a bit on the motor/axle alignment or is this taken care off buy putting the bushings on the bottom of the rail and using 1/2 stock? It all sounds too simply, which off course it isn't of might not be.
