32 Roadster body, and vintage typhoon

Postby btaylor » Fri Mar 20, 2015 6:00 am

Well, I had this extra silicone you see........... So, I decided to cast us a 32 Ford Roadster body based on an original Aurora 1/32 hot rod kit from 1965. And i cloned an original SCX Typhoon sidecar bike that Chappy graciously loaned me from his personal collection for just this purpose. (Thanks Bob!) so here they are, not exciting stuff to most, but for those who like obscure resin bodies, and potential Dirt track roadsters (hold your hand up Dave) we now have the first one.

Great Stuff Bob , you caught all the detail on the Typhoon, no, easy task.
The old Roadster I can see being a popular build , it looks great.
Have you ordered more silicone yet, I'm sure the company is relying on you and Dave to keep them afloat lol

Those are definitely some cool bodies!

Would be cool to see a proxy based on the bike/side car units!

I have really enjoyed casting all these bodies, Once i get caught up though, i am taking a break to do some serious building!
I have a few of them half done to use for examples, but none really finished like i want them. but soon!
