Ronnie Peterson March

Postby Reslotted » Mon Nov 19, 2012 12:00 am

Hi everyone,
I just finished this March 721x.
Chassis and body kit is Penelope Pitlane.
Rims and tyres are Ostorero, Inserts by Protoslot.
Front suspension from the scrapbox, old scalextric I think.

Very nice! I really like the older F-1 cars, before the narrow tracks, and all the wing thingies. :)

Thanks everybody, but real credit should go to the guys who made the master and the folk at PP who produced the kit.
All I did was paint it and put it together.

Honestly that Chassis is about the easiest thing ever to fold into shape, as for the body all I did was cut the posts down, take a little out of the inside of the shell (she sat a little high to start with) and make the front axle rebates a little bigger to take the scalex suspension detail.

The Ostorero rims and tyres were a straight fit, apart from boring the front axle holes out to take a standard 3/32 front axle.
(Osto must use a thinner front axle)
Penelope Pitlane also do a very nice Matra and Lotus 72.
