Yep, Scaleauto made a winner here for sure...
Here in the northeast, we like these cars a lot, mostly because they are very easy to tune, and they are solid and reliable. I recently set one up for a 12 hour race which had 4 rookies driving on a team of 6 guys, and the car finished 2nd and was pushing the winning team quite hard at the end. The car ran flawlessly throughout the event, and the guys were able to drive it quick without any problems. I used the 20k motor, and geared conservatively at around 2.9/1 because of the rookies. The car is capable of running within a couple tenths of the track record with a good driver at the control.
In many ways, these cars are better than most Slot.It cars. They even include the set screws so you can adjust the front end height (no brainer, eh?)
