Motor Adapter

Will the slotit motor adapter for SCX allow me to swap a Ninco long-can to a Mabuchi? I guess I can try this out for myself tonight after work, but it's lunchtime so I'm asking anyway.

That long can Ninco seems massive and would seem to possibly exacerbate the rear-end sliding out. My thought is that replacing with a short can (if the adapter works) might be less radial mass-force trying to push the car out in the curves. But since the short can would be located further back, the opposite might be true due to the lengthened moment arm. Has this topic been hashed over?

For the C130 can you may need a different adaptor. I think the Slot it one is for a long 180 can to a short 180 can. SCC Canada had the ones you need for a 130 can.

So do you think I’ll have more curve hugging capability w the long more massive can that has a slight bit of mass more foreword - or more curve hugging with the smaller motors that will be more aft in the mount?
