Bulk Parts and Chassis

What's the best and cheapest way to buy a whole pile of decent quality parts for building cars. I mean by the dozen. Brass pinions, good gears, brass bushings, nice round set-screw wheels, adjustable compact chassis, good guides, and versatile little 10-15k motors. Consider for instance if I wanted to stock up enough parts to build two dozen fairly small simple narrow wheeled grocery-getter slot cars with a minimum of fuss. I'm kind of sick of buying yet another handful of pinions, axles, gears, etc every other month.

I just did this same thing and it is well worth it. One big box came in with enough to do about 8 to 10 cars plus a few odds and ends to fix a couple simple issues on other cars.

Spent a buck or two...but saved 5 times that in cars that will now come back to life.

I've been getting stuff in bulk as well lately and it does save you some money over the long haul.

It also helps when you can't sleep and you have a nice pile of parts to start on a nice new project!
