Is the Scalextric guide set up similar to the SCX guide with the two contact strips? Will the Javelin come with the same type of guide? I plan on getting the Scalextric Javelin and would prefer a more traditional guide set up.

Yes, it is similar.


The plate shown with the braid is very loose fitting in some models, especially these newer models.

How does the braid plate attach to the guide flag? It looks like it would just fall off.

That is good to hear that some one has stepped up to the plate and filled the gap that b nova left when they stopping making these adapters.
