Painting tires

I think most everyone knows that if you paint your front tires with Super Glue, or Future, or other shiny stuff, you can go a little faster. I have never liked the look of painted tires since they are too shiny and have little white translucent edges. The other day I was going through some stuff and came across a bottle of black nail polish. This is the ticket for painting front tires. It dries smooth, but best of all it is black, just like the tire! So stop using that clear stuff and just ask your neighborhood goth where he/she gets black nail polish.

I am on the other side of this as I dislike hard nail polish. All it does is make my cars sound like a couple marbles rolling down the track. Plus I do not care for the "wet look" either if you go around the sidewalls.

Using very cheap "Mop and Shine" dries and creates a zero grip surface without a high gloss shine or annoying sound. If you coat the tire patch surface only, you cannot see any edges.
