Now the fun will start!Looks like a good deal to me.
I've been told by some buddies to stop speaking of how much I enjoy running the little ELDONS..
Seems it is making the price go up.. ;)

actually these cars are 3 volts. the big misconception is that Eldon is six volts. 3 volts for the blue cans and 2.5 for the gold cans. I would seriously not consider running these on 12 volts . Eldon did have a gold 12 volt can for that nylon chassis.

Thanks! I will probably have to re-motor them anyway, but if they do run, I would not want to be the one that burnt them up after all these years! At three volts i am assuming these were battery powered?.
Not saying its been a long time since i had some of these, but i got a figure eight set for Christmas in 1964 ! I really only remember that they were fun ,and i like the body style.

Rusty, you will be proud of me! I just ordered two sets of pg tires from SCC,and replacement decals for both cars!
Should end up with enough money in these i could have bought a collectors set of big name cars!
Just dont matter! they gotta run again...

Very nice pair - and you DID NOT pay too much! Great score.
I've got a white one new in the box on the collection shelf, but none to race. :>(

Congrats and... Enjoy! -- Ernie
