Wow! An awesome collector's piece! Congrats to you, a rare find indeed!
Do you plan to find or make some oilite bushings for the rear axle? A front axle should be easy enough to fabricate.
Then you could assemble and run the model -- or keep it pristine and unassembled for your collection!
The Strombecker slot products are classic American stuff all the way. Just check out that decal sheet -- very cool!

im going to try and find original parts if I can. if not... ill make some parts so it can be used. I really want to drive it!
