Nice ride Mike! That's a Revell set car, my buddy Frank still has his complete set. It came with a 67/68 Mustang Fastback also.
Those cars were usually put into the specially packaged sets for the big department stores.
His is the Banked Curve set from Sears Roebuck and Co., with the plastic chassis like yours.
If I remember, the body material feels a little more flexible, not like the usual styrene.
You won't set any speed records, but you'll have fun racing it as long as the rubber's good!
