Eldon Lotus 23
Posted: Thu Oct 04, 2012 8:19 pmI posted this once on the old board but since we have a nice new vintage board, I thought that I would repost this car. I picked up this Eldon Lotus 23 body up on ebay.
Opting for a more modern running gear, I put an Artin chassis under her.
The wheels and axles are from one of the Carrera street blvd. cruisers which have wheels that are way over scale. They worked in this case because this model is way over scale for 1/32. If you have ever seen a real Lotus 23, they are tiny cars. Comparing the driver to some other driver busts that I have, I think this car is actually closer to 1/24. That is fine with me because I will get some more when the opportunity presents itself to race against each other. This car really drives nice on Artin running gear.
