Seeing that AMT model makes you wonder. What if they would have released these latest kits with that chassis? woohoo.

I second the motion about the new AMT's. What a difference that chassis and an interior of any kind might have made. I'd also add that the Impala that AMT did was one of the sleekest and best of the day.

That AMT stamped brass chassis was actually pretty competitive back in the day. I put vacuum formed
bodies on them and rewound motors. Beat a lot of Classic and Champion chassised cars.
