Monogram 1/32 Ferrari 330LM

This is a vintage 1/32 scale Monogram Ferrari 330LM from a race set. This is my three year-olds car, it has been glued back together and is kinda beat up but it is all original except for the Ortmann rear tires. It has a simple brass chassis with plastic wheels and instead of a guide flag it has a guide pin that makes it easy for him to put back in the slot. Hard to think that this nice running car is over 45 years old! This is another nice body that would be great for Monogram to re-issue - it was the last Ferrari to win the 24 hour race at LeMans.

Not to embarrass, but Monogram did re-issue the car, in a great little kit. There are still lots of them around, as well as the 375 that was offered at the same time. I have one of the originals too, and the newer chassis is soooo much easier to square up.
