it is interesting that at all these reunions you seldom see the real great drivers of the 60's because most of them died racing.. i think hall is the only driver that had endorsed a slot car manufacturer and lived... clark with scalex, roberts with aurora, and revson with afx vanished in their prime. grab an 1965 issue of road and track and look at race results... it is a real trip.. when jackie stewart was asking for more safety he was considered a wimp by many... auto racing has come a long way.
