Thanks for the invite Rusty. I've shown this car before. It is an Eldon Lotus 23 body that I bought on ebay. These cars, though roughly 1/32 in wheelbase are actually closer to 1/24 based on the size of the driver. The Lotus was a really small car so the size makes sense. I put an Artin chassis under her with a wheel/ axle set from a Carrera muscle car which were kind'a overscale. But they fit this car good.

She has stock Artin power so I think she flies at appropriate speeds.

Got this one off of e-bay for cheap.Seems to be a custom job though the body fits well and has the post.I had to lube ,re-tire and solder up a wire or two,but now she runs with the rest..Any idea on who made the body?
The cool thing about it to me is that the body is about as detailed as Eldon would have done.
Now we can do the 007 in Eldon style!

I've got one thing to say to all of the above - very nice, guys! I hope those little low volt "cheapie" motors last forever in all your runners.
Sold all my Eldon stuff (save one small 1962 set and a few cars for my collection) many years ago. They're still fun to race in their purest form, I wish you all many, many years of enjoyment from all that vintage gear.
Very cool... Ernie

These little jewels are fun..I've also have started putting some of the Artin stocker chassis under some of my bodies that had no running gear. They are very close to running with the stock Eldons.Just enough power, and pure fun.
