Great Ads! I recently picked up one of Robert Schleicher's old books from the 1960's that shows a bunch of these cars. Really love that era!

I had one of those 1/32 scale Cheetah's. I ran it on my uncle's Strombecker home track with liberal doses of wintergreen on the foam tires.

Yeah... oil of wintergreen and a trued up pair of Graupner (did I spell it right?) 'German Formula' foam rubber slicks. Our mothers would always tell us to "get those stinky slot boxes out of my living room!" Good stuff.
Thanks for posting the photos, all that was missing was the musty smell from my old model/slot magazines!
