I fond this chassis on eby a while ago I'd like to find out a bit of information on it? I'm in the process of getting it back on the track!!IMG_20190830_215017.jpg

That is a scratch built chassis. If the builder did a number of similar cars that were raced you might be able to find out who he was. I do not recognize the body.

Modern strap motor configuration. As Rich noted, looks like a scratch build and a modern lexan body maybe a mustang or capri.

Real typical build from late 60's, floppy side pans, still has a drop arm. within a couple years they were making frames way more complicated than this. Probably was a screamer and had a nothing body on it. Not much scale but fast. Way beyond my capabilities. You should see some of the stuff guys solder together for 1/24. The frames are made up of 10-15 pieces all soldered together and allowing movement in all directions. I'll post apicture next time one of the guy that commercial race show a frame project.

IMG_20190902_073453.jpggreat thanks for the response, as I said I'm getting it back on the track I got the body an decals from patto's Capri rs2600 i think the 16D from Thunderbird slotcars. The body it had was a mini! Old school.

Yes, judging by the amount of solder used on the joints I would agree that this was a home built chassis.
Very typical for the era. Go through it, install a pair of new rear tires, oil it up and have some FUN. Enjoy! -- Ernie :>)

The motor in that frame is much newer than the frame itself, and the car has never run with that motor, as there is no evidence of solder on the motor tabs, and no lead wires.

Motor looks like a Pro Slot to me.
