Can you identify this 1/24 adjustable chassis?

Postby 3nickel » Wed Jan 23, 2019 12:28 am

Hi guys, I started disassembling this chassis tonight. The guy I bought my track from said he put this into storage in '71. 1/8 axles with threaded wheels. The tire disintegrated in my fingers as I unthreaded the wheel. Pressed Steel crown gear. Motor says TKK Japan...Thanks, dave

Revell chassis, all components are original Revell except for the rear tires & wheels.

Yup, looks like a Revell chassis and motor with Monogram wheels and crown gear.
You can get a better crown gear....the wheels aren't bad but you will have to shop for tires.

The front wheels and tires are Revell and original to the chassis. The rear tires look like they may have come from Russkit and the rear wheels from another aftermarket manufacturer.

I've got four of these original REVELL 1/32 cars from the Americana set up and running, just for old time's sake.
Were you ever able to get your chassis into a runner you can have FUN with?
Hope you did, and... Enjoy! -- Ernie :>)
