A few recently finished Midgets

I sold all the Midgets I owned previously and have been seriously regretting it ever since. Well a few timely purchases later, I have a few more. In these pictures are a couple of built up resin kits from Big Donkey resins and a couple of original Monogram kits. Still to be built is my new kit from EJ's. I think 5 is probably enough, for now....lol

They're still listed on the EJ Hobbies website for $79 + postage. They have a phone number posted there, so you could always call.

Ed is out of the midget kits and has been for 2-3 years. He is asking for anybody interested in buying them to let him know and if he gets enough interest he will order another run. I know he has the trim and the chassis , but is holding them in case he makes up more kits.

I don't think he will make any more. Maybe he will offer the frames and chrome trim at some time in the future. The bodies aren't hard to make, so it would be easy to put together some if he let loose of the chrome and the frames. Larry Baisch (Big Donkey) makes great bodies and ships quick. I quit making the Strom dirt track bodies and just started buying from him. I wanted to build 2 more cars and it was easier to just buy 2 from him rather than make a new mold and invest all that time and money in the limited number I wanted.

Neat little cars, but they do run smooth and aren't bad in the corners. These would make some fun racing!

Hi:

Does anyone have any spare chrome pieces for the Strombecker midgets or know where to get some... I have nearly 4 complete ones but need a few chrome parts to finish them off.. Please let me know as I would like to get these on the track and start using them.
