I picked Up A couple Strombecker Cars For Some Nostalgia Fun Does Anybody Know Where I can Get Tires For These Cars?

Try Paul Gage. He had a good assortment of old style tires

Paul Gage and BOSA make urethane tires to fit that.

Smilin Ray also makes some very good urethanes for these. I have used them for several years now.

Don't know if he's still up and running, but Ed Sourbeck of EJ's Hobbies out in the Midwest specialized in Strombecker replacement parts. He was making new reproduction rubber tires for them and COX cars as well. Sorry, I don't have his contact info any longer. Try a search, he may be able to help you out. Gook luck, and... Excellent! Good to hear Ed's still in the game. Years ago, I would spend many hours on the phone with him. I purchased his Strombecker Ferrari and Chaparral reproduction/NOS hybrid kits from him back then. Unfortunately never got around to building them, as involvement with 1/32 racing here never really got going among the few groups I race with. So, they remain on the shelf... you never know, right? I race mainly various types of HO now, with some occasional 1/24 club stuff.

Hope all the info given in this thread helps out with the original Strombecker tires problem.

Fitzy, I have a friend who was making tires for a lot of his older Strommy and Eldon cars. They are urethane and work quite well.
I could check with him for you if you'd like.
