A Swap Meet Find

Postby dge467 » Mon May 02, 2016 8:50 pm

Picked these up while looking for car parts at a swap meet. A Camaro and Shelby Mustang by Eldon. Some type of sports car, no manufacture ID. Also two figures. Paid a whole $10.00 for the lot.

You always find cool stuff Jeff! And what makes them even cooler is, you always bring them back to life. Can't wait to see what you do with them.

Nice find!!.........the "some type of sports car, no manufacturer ID" is also an Eldon....it was one of their initial releases ...you have the top half of what was a clamshell unit with the running gear in the missing bottom half......not to despair, as these were hideous bloody things, and although they looked like a lot of different cars, they were in fact just fantasy body designs.

lots of pics. of these can be found online, I did not bother to attach one as,...well....they just are not worth it :)

Have fun with the Camaro and Mustang...both can be made to look/go very well!!

Cheers

I was going to pirate the driver out of the red car seeing that it is missing parts. Thanks for identifying it for me.
