They are still out there!

Won this auction for a near Mint Strommie D Jag. Very strange original mold color? Of all I have had over the years, I had never seen this green. The car has all the original lens and windscreen intact, even the original drivers head. Tires are dry, but it ran great with a set of PG's on the back and a drop of oil.
Not a bad find for bit less than a new Carrera car.
They are still out there! just have to be patient I guess.ImageImageImage

Thanks Guy's, Mike , I kinda figured you had spotted this one! it was to good to pass on for me, as I love the Jags.
There is a pretty good tr250 on there with all the trim too. but I know you have seen that one!

That is definitely a different shade of green than any I have seen - very cool to find it in that condition to boot!

This is the first Strommy Jag that I have seen in a long long time with the headlight covers intact.

I Found the red one in almost that condition, but the motor was shot. I put a PCS chassis under it and an H&R Hawk motor and sent it out to a proxie. Great find. I've seen lots of red and blue ones but rarely green. Of course most of the ones we find have ten coats of paint on them.

Very cool car! Amazing that this stuff is still out there. Sad too to think it wasn't played with. I'm guessing that just changed!

Excellent score on a classic American made slot car. The D Jag just screams '60's slot car racer!
May you enjoy running it for many years to come... Ernie :>)
