Chris,
I love your work. I have a couple of Strombecker carrs and find it difficult to find original/aftermarket parts.
Where do you shop?

Hi Folks, I am just replacing photos that were previously on Photobucket, with ones I have now placed on Postimage...this site is easy (good for me ;) ), and quite quick.
Most of the pics. are the same, but, I have added a few new ones.

Cheers

Gorgeous paint work, what brand or method of paint is used on these? + What chassis is under the Ford J-Car?

Thanks, Chet

Hello Chet, All of these Strombecker bodies have been painted with Tamiya TS rattle cans (both for the colour and the clear) .......any minor imperfections were touched up with Tamiya polishing compounds.

The chassis under the "J" car is an original Strombecker brass chassis, similar to the picture below. (This pic. is of the Cheetah chassis......an identical chassis is under the "J" car.

Cheers
