You might be dead on the money. In some conditions where you could work the gearing, it should be very close. Different track sizes will be a factor of course.

The printed data for the motors are one thing, how they "feel" on the track is often different. Such as with the MX16 (Orange) motor. This motor simply doesn't have a very smooth low end on the power band. In my terms? "Twitchy". Almost an all or nothing feel to it. Most clubs I follow take this one out immediately and choose a different motor. Around here mostly Piranha.

Same with the Flat 6, but not quite as bad.
With more advanced controllers with sensitivity, the motor is quite manageable.

On my little home track the power/speed difference is noticeable. Out on the oval where my straights are a bit longer, it's easily seen.

Will be interesting to see others reports as they compare.

Well made a leap of faith. have one coming along with the red chassis for more tuning options. Just hope it gets here before this Thursday, has to travel from east to the west coast.....here wishing for a fast plane ride and race truck delv :D :D :D :D :D

Don't throw away the extra plastic parts in the box. They are for adjusting your chassis stiffness.

with these being such a new model is there any chance that they have a spare spoiler. took me just taking it of the case and dropping it just right on the floor to snap it off didn't even get the damn thing on the track before I broke it. :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops: if so can somebody point me to the correct web page to buy two or three. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I would check with any dealer for that. Not seeing them listed but I bet they are coming soon.

The Baby Raptor is a pretty decent motor. It doesn't accelerate too madly for a big can and is manageable once up to speed. This almost seems like a momentum car? I tossed the rear rims and replaced them with like-sized Slot Its mainly because I had a silicone tire that would fit those. I also ground down the inserts so they'd fit IN the rim. I pushed them partially out of the stock rims and mounted them on my Tire Razor and ground the outer lip down flush with the insert itself. Then I removed the disc brake detail and ground down the back of the insert so it wouldn't hit the wheel boss of the Slot it rim. Now the inserts are flush. The only drawback is that since the outer rim is removed they appear to be a smaller diameter than the front. I guess I'll get around to thinning those to at some point.
