I always hear economics of scale when people ask why their favorite cars hasn’t been produced as a slot car. Multiple liveries are mentioned as reason for bringing a car to production.
CG has now done three basically one-off cars. Yes, they don’t retail for $39.95, but the cars are unique, both in selection and in the use of high quality parts. And apparently unavailable. The dealers listed on CG’s website are all out of stock.
Please, CG, take a moment to update your website. The Ti22 shows up as a future car.

A few things I did to improve the car for my smaller track:

1. Glue the rear bushings. They are just a little loose.
2. Added the lead you seen in the video.
3. The bulkhead uprights for the front axle centering collar needed a light file.
4.Lubricate appropriate areas.

You might want to secure the wheel inserts as well. They are a great fit but at speed they and come loose. I coated the inside of the wheel with a light coat of nail polish and reinstalled them.

I like that he's made a simple and sturdy looking chassis.
