Some improvements, but it's nothing groundbreaking. A "Fly Classic" with a fresh take.

I just wish I had received the car you got. I have the white one, and it had all the old Fly traits - out of round wheels and the worst-fitting tires I think I have ever seen on a slot car. There was a large amount of flash inside the groove that had to be cut away before the tire would fit properly over the wheel's center flange.

Once that was corrected and all the tires ground true, they actually worked quite well on my wood track. As per the review, performance is snappy and the adjustable front axle helps get the somewhat shallow guide all the way into the slot, so handling was pretty nice all round. Nice soft braids helped as well, better than many other RTR cars.

I agree with that. The one I bought had some major problems just like the old Fly cars. Like I had posted before somewhere the body is the star here. The rest is fixable.
