Jeremy, nice review thanks for doing it. Its a great looking car and I like the ideas behind it but its more car than I need for my home layout. If I had a big commercial type track near me I sure would like to try one.

I like Astons, a lot.
When I win the Lottery there will be a 1:1 DB9 on the shopping list.
This one looks like a ripper, but not for me I'm afraid, see I already have several versions from several manufacturers. That have had a lot of time put into them. I can't really justify another DB9.
I can't really understand why a new manufacturer would rehash something thats already been done to death, especially as their first release.
Maybe a 2D Chappy or another Iconic car that hasn't been already done a dozen times would have been a better choice.
Still it,s an excellent car with a lot of innovations, I wish them well.

They aren't another faceless company, it's a fella who likes slotcars and Aston Martins.
The guy has built what HE loves, in the way He felt it deserved to be represented. Which is a fair enough thing.
Thats what we all do when we build or repaint our cars and He's just done it on a grand scale.

Like I said, I like Astons, I'd probably have a good hard look at this if I didn't already have a few.

I hope he does well. It's an interesting car and I will be keen to see what comes up with in the future.

Mate, great review, I can see an awful lot of good in this model from a technical viewpoint, its a very crisp presentation and obviously well thought out.

I like it, I think Black Arrow will do well.

For me personally the lack of a magnet is a hindrance, I have always been a magnet racer primarily and that will never change. Sure I can race ok without mag, but I really enjoy the speed factor of magnet racing, plus if set-up correctly magnet cars will always give a more realistic action on-track.

I think my recent look at the Scaleauto Honda brought this home for me, the 1/24th cars have the "X" factor big time for me, really fun to punt around and that is due to their dimensions I think, a magnet is superfluous.

Anyway, enough about magnets, I found it quite refreshing to note the manufacturer actually admitting liberties had been taken with the dimensions of the model instead of constant (and ludicrous) denials by some others over the years.

The Black Arrow Aston Martin is a purpose built "Racer" and obviously proud of that fact, I can respect that!
