I don't have any rules here, so if they touch or not isn't a concern. But they do touch and will likely need sanding/truing to set it right...or rather how I prefer it. Your mileage may vary.

For wood track owners like myself, a guide change is usually required to set the height correctly.
Given Scalextric's weak guide system, I created an article to help those not yet experiencing it.

Scalextric Guide Modifications

All the latest releases I have reviewed, the fronts touch. Most support more than I care for.

I just read a very good report on this car on a FB group page. And he's the fastest racer so he'd know. Scalextric is on it this year. :text-bravo:

Finally got some track time with mine.
Great looking car. Size is dead on with the Sideways DPs.
After reading the Javelin review, I was hoping the tires would work on my routed track. Turned out they were like driving on ice, but Slot It 20x11 P6s slipped right on and...instant grip.
Waiting for the next car in the series, and possibly a pod chassis with the same rear diffuser detail.

It doesn't work off the home page like that....maybe because I use a iPad? I've been returning to your post to get there since it changed.
