I am familiar with a couple of those guys. Anybody wishing to race with this group must have a straight axle car and it must be a 4 speed. No automatics are allowed. We have a local group, based in Louisville, but covering 200 miles or so. They are the "Straight Axle Mafia". Much the same rules, but they do allow automatic trans. These guys are about 70 strong. I think the SEG are into 300-400 members from 5-10 states. Both these groups get apearance money for attending drag events.

Matt that is interesting to know. Being such a long way from you it is difficult to have a full picture.

The cars do seem more exciting to watch, although perhaps this video doesn't show it as much as the early SEGA you tube productions.

Certainly there are some very good looking cars to model here.
