Ohio George Willys

Some of you may recall I did up a Ohio George Mustang some time back. I have just about completed his Willys to go along with Mustang.

Like the Mustang, I did a fairly simple brass frame and secured it to the interior of the model with a screw. I also set it up with a drop arm for some good wheelie action :auto-layrubber:

Because I have a few Slot.It orange endbell motors laying around, I used one of those instead of my usual Piranha powerplant. Since we run indexes, it's just a matter of getting geared right to be competitive. We'll find out this Saturday how she does... :auto-driving:

Thanks for the compliments guys. I hope she runs as good as she looks. I'll keep you posted how she does this Saturday... :D

Looks like another winner Dickie. :) I can visualize a fleet of these 33's running at Itchie's under various paint schemes, such as the Pittman Brothers, Stone, Woods, & Cook or the Mallicoat Brothers.
