HRW "USAC" Charger by Mark Thomas

What a surprise. Mark mailed this to me as a present. It was built to race in our little 1/32 dirt series of cars and BOY does it do the job!

Great work. Looks just like an old hammer that might have teared it up on tracks like Springfield.

He used a Carrera chassis under here, great idea.

Oh yeah, fits right in! Great work Mark...thanks for this great gift.

That's one nice piece of work. I really like the screen on the front end.

The "dirt" paint job is pretty cool, too!

Absolutely awesome looking car!

A chassis swap in reverse of what I have been doing! LOL!!!

I put the monogram stocker chassis under the carrera bodies.

That car fits in nicely with your field of cars Harry!

Enjoy and thanks for sharing!!!!

Air cleaners are either home made or I used smaller ones from 1/25th scale kits.

Some have also been resin casts made over the years.

Yeah, Mark hit a home run here.

How bout the wheels and motor on this. I'm guessing an MT-1 motor and looks like plastic wheels up front but how about the rear?

The wheels are the stock Carrera trued up.

The motor is a Carrera or Monogram. He built it to run with the other dirt cars in this series.
